Zubby Michael has broken his social media silence following the sudden death of his former colleague and friend, Junior Pope, who tragically drowned alongside members of a movie crew on April 10.
Junior Pope, known as John Paul Odonwodo, was remembered fondly by many in the entertainment industry following his untimely death. However, Zubby, who had been notably absent from the online tributes despite their close relationship, faced criticism for his silence, including from actress Angela Okorie.
In response to the criticism, Zubby previously remarked on Instagram, “no be by posting.”
Now, after two weeks since the tragic boat accident, Zubby has shared a heartfelt post on social media, featuring a photo of Junior Pope. In the caption, he expressed the difficulty of bidding farewell to his friend: “It’s difficult to say rip nwanne.”
