Wizkid is delaying the release of his next album “More Love, Less Ego” following the recent tragedy.

Nigerian megastar artist Wizkid was reported to have postponed the release of his upcoming album called More Love, Less Ego.

Wizkid’s fifth album ‘More Love, Less Ego’ was set to be released at midnight on Thursday 3rd November 2022. Two singles have been released from the album, ‘Bad To Me’ and ‘Money & Love’. The latter of these was released a week before the proposed release date for the full album.

The media reported that Wizkid postponed the album release amidst the bleak changes happening in the entertainment industry.

The postponement is in honor of the recent painful loss of the son of Davido’s son Ifeanyi whose sad passing has generated wide condolences from Nigerians, fans, colleagues, politicians, and individuals around the world.

Wizkid has removed some of the promotional tweets he posted about his album. He was also reported to have canceled some performances to honor Elijah.

Ifeanyi, an adorable 3-year-old African boy, recently celebrated his birthday. The little lad is the son of one of Africa’s most loved celebrities. Ifeanyi was reported to have drowned in a pool after being left unattended by his caregiver.

Six out of the eight people who were brought in for questioning regarding his passing were released after questioning, and two are still being questioned.

It is currently unknown whether or not the new release date for Wizkid’s More Love, Less Ego with Apple Music indicates the earlier release date.
