Top Politician Suddenly Slumps, Dies Hours To Crucial Election (PHOTO)


A top politician has suddenly slumped and died some hours before a crucial election in his state.
The Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Council, Hon. Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed, has passed away. The unfortunate incident occurred around 4:30 am at a Lokoja hospital where he was rushed after collapsing at his residence. The late chairman had been actively participating in various political meetings in preparation for the upcoming governorship election on Saturday.
According to a family source, he was quickly taken to Shifa Hospital, Lokoja, shortly after collapsing at home on Thursday night. Unfortunately, doctors declared him clinically dead at 4:30 am on Friday. Hon. Muhammed, hailing from ward B in the cantonment area of Lokoja, will be laid to rest at the Unguwan Kura Muslim cemetery after the Juma’at prayer on Friday.
Sympathizers have been visiting his family house in the cantonment areas of Lokoja to offer condolences. The deceased is survived by his mother, wife, and children.
Talba Lakwaja, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lokoja, confirmed the chairman’s demise, announcing that the burial would take place at Anguwan Kura burial ground at 2 pm immediately after the Juma’at prayer. The procession will depart from his family house at cantonment to Lokoja Central Mosque by 1:30 pm.
