The release date of Ruger’s next single has been postponed after the horrific events.

As a result of the recent loss of Davido and Chioma’s son, Ruger has pushed back the release date for his next single.

Ruger has announced that there will be a change in plans for Red Flag, his next single. He was scheduled to release it today, but he just tweeted that the release date will now be Friday, 4th November 2022.

In a now-deleted Instagram story post, he explained that the release date is being pushed back over what he described as an unsuitable time.

RED FLAGS was originally scheduled to be released tomorrow, but I’ve decided to delay the release date. It’s a project close to my heart, and I want more time to make sure it’s perfect. We’ll announce a new date next week. Thank you all for your support and understanding.

You may have heard that Ruger delayed his upcoming album. Along with him, other artists have postponed their albums in the wake of the tragedy of 3-year-old Ifeanyi Adeleke, who drowned at home while playing in a pool.

Today (3rd November), Wizkid also announced that he’s postponing the release of his upcoming album More Love Less Ego in light of recent tragic events.

Since the sad death of the young child, people from all over the world have sent their condolences to Nigeria, including fellow Nigerians and industry insiders who know firsthand how much his music meant to us.
