Tambuwal Congratulates Gov. Diri Over Election Victory says PDP Remains Party of Choice in Bayelsa

The former Sokoto State Governor, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, CFR, has congratulated Governor Douye Diri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on his re-election as Bayelsa State Governor.
Senator Tambuwal, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Housing and Urban Development, described Gov. Diri’s victory as well deserved.
In a statement he personally posted on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account on Monday, the former Chairman of the PDP’s Governors’ Forum, said Diri’s victory was “a clear manifestation that PDP remains the party of choice in Bayelsa State”.
Senator Tambuwal, who is also the former chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF), expressed confidence that Governor Diri will build on his unprecedented achievements in the state.
“I am confident that you will build on the dividends of democracy recorded so far,” he added.
