Shots Fired at Drake’s Mansion: Security Guard Injured
Toronto Police are investigating a shooting that took place early in the morning on May 7 outside Drake’s mansion. According to reports from CBC and The Toronto Star, the entrance to the rapper’s house has been taped off after a reported shooting. The Star also reports that police are going in and out of the house as they investigate.
Toronto Police Operations posted on X that they were investigating a shooting that took place at 2:09 a.m. at Bayview Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East, near the site of Drake’s Park Lane Circle mansion in the Bridle Path neighborhood — one of the most expensive areas of Toronto.
According to the tweet, a man was transported to hospital with serious injuries and a suspect fled in a vehicle. The Toronto Star reports that it is unclear whether Drake was at home at the time.
