On Thursday, September 30, the bodies of 38 people slain by bandits in Kaura Local Government Area, Kaduna State, were buried amid weeping.

Sympathizers gathered in Kaura at GSS Mallagum to offer their respects. Women, children, and the elderly were observed sobbing as their loved ones were laid to rest.

The victims were killed in the attack on Madamai and Abun communities in Kaura Local Government Area on Sunday, September 26.

During the incident, seven additional people were injured, and many houses were set on fire.
