Impeachment Move: Atiku’s Man Sends Message To Fubara, Reveals How He Can Push Wike Out

An ally of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, has sent a message to Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
Daniel Bwala, who is seen as Atiku’s man, told Fubara, to use his executive authority responsibly in handling the situation with the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike amid the ongoing crisis in the state’s polity.
Bwala emphasized that democratic principles should guide the resolution of the ongoing conflict between the two leaders. This appeal comes amid the escalating crisis between Governor Fubara and Minister Wike. However, he maintained that as an incumbent Governor, Fubara has what it takes to drive Wike out of town.
Bwala wrote, ”Sim Fubara should use the full weight of his executive powers to run Wike out of town. Our democracy does not recognize authoritarianism. The person voted as the executive Governor and Chief security officer of Rivers State is Fubara. @officialABAT is urged to be extremely careful with Wike before Wike ruin his government’s image both locally and internationally. PBAT should sack Wike without delay,”
Recall that a move by some members of the state House of Assembly has been causing chaos in the state. There was also an explosion at the assembly complex on Sunday night, fueling allegations of a plot to remove the governor.
The Governor also accused security operatives in the state of firing shots at him on Monday morning.
