Former Assistant Sues Kanye West for Sexual Harassment and Wrongful Termination

Kanye West is facing a lawsuit from a former assistant who alleges sexual harassment and wrongful termination. Lauren Pisciotta, who worked for West from July 2021 until her dismissal in October 2022, filed the lawsuit detailing a pattern of inappropriate behaviour and broken promises.

Pisciotta claims she was initially hired to assist with West’s Yeezy fashion line launch. The role reportedly included working extended hours and collaborating on music for his album “Donda.”

The lawsuit further alleges that Pisciotta was an active user of the adult content platform OnlyFans, generating additional income. However, in 2022, West allegedly requested she shut down her account, pressuring her to adopt a more “God Like” persona. In exchange, he reportedly promised to increase her salary to $2 million to compensate for the lost income from OnlyFans, a raise that Pisciotta claims never materialized.

Following this alleged promise, Pisciotta accuses West of escalating his behaviour. The lawsuit details a series of inappropriate actions, including lewd text messages, graphic descriptions of desired sexual acts, and unsolicited explicit photos and videos involving West himself and other women. Additionally, the lawsuit alleges West would share intimate photos of both male and female Yeezy employees.

The most disturbing details involve physical encounters. Pisciotta claims West masturbated during phone calls, inquired about her boyfriend’s physiques, and pressured her to remove clothing in the office. One particularly disturbing incident described in the lawsuit involves West allegedly locking her in a room, masturbating in her presence, and then falling asleep. Pisciotta further alleges that West became hostile when she rejected his advances for a romantic or sexual relationship.

Despite the alleged harassment, Pisciotta claims she was promoted to Chief of Staff for several of West’s companies in September 2022, with a promised salary of $4 million. However, just a month later, she was fired. The lawsuit states she was offered $3 million in severance, which she also claims she never received.

Pisciotta’s lawsuit seeks compensation for breach of contract and a hostile work environment. This comes amidst another lawsuit filed against West last month, where a former Black security guard at his Donda Academy school alleges racial discrimination and wrongful termination.
