A Nigerian bride, Jessica Okah, recently shared a remarkable encounter about her church wedding.
She revealed how her pastor unexpectedly stopped the wedding proceedings and instructed her to remove her eyelashes during the ceremony.
According to Okah, the pastor had mentioned the issue of her eyelashes prior to the wedding day, but she had forgotten about it and assumed it would not be a concern during the ceremony.
In her words, “What would you do if your pastor asked you to remove your lashes in the middle of your wedding ceremony? It was like a movie, but it was happening for real.”
She elaborated, “After my husband’s family accepted me, that’s when my pastor realized that he told me the day before that I wasn’t supposed to wear lashes to the wedding ceremony. Let me not lie, I didn’t have a problem with it anyway, but truthfully, I forgot.”
The bride recounted how the pastor halted the service until she removed her lashes. She even shared a video capturing the moment when the wedding proceedings paused over her eyelashes and resumed after she complied with the pastor’s request.
