BREAKING: Yakubu Gowon Is Dead


Yakubu Gowon, a former Head of State is dead.
The former Nigerian Head of State reportedly passed on at the age of 89. He was the head of state of Nigeria from 1966 to 1975. It was within that time that he presided over the Nigerian Civil War which led to the death of many people.
Years after his regime, Gowon has also been playing key roles in Nigeria, preaching peace, love, unity, and national cohesion. He has supported the democratically elected President of Nigeria until his death.
