BREAKING: Residents Killed As Fulani Herdsmen Attack Agatu, Another LGA In Benue
Several communities in Agatu and Apa Local Government Areas of Benue State are under attack by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
The attacks have resulted in multiple casualties while some individuals were reported missing.
Affected areas include Odugbeho in Agatu LGA, and in Apa LGA, communities such as Ikobi, Edikwu-Olekle, Opaha, and Obinda-Odugbo are under siege.
Among the confirmed casualties are Tijani Ene’Ogekwu from Odugbeho and Simon Ojiji from Ikobi, whose bodies have been recovered. Additionally, Ene Aniheli from Ikobi sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving medical attention.
Local youths are currently engaged in efforts to repel the attacks, though the situation remains tense. Further details are expected as the situation develops.
