A clash between hoodlums in the Ile-Epo area of Lagos State resulted in numerous injuries. The conflict erupted in a market located in the vicinity on Wednesday night, extending into Thursday morning.
Reports indicate that the altercation led to the destruction of several shops and goods within the market premises. Despite attempts by the police to intervene early on, the intervention was hindered by the hoodlums.
Additionally, when a fire service truck arrived at the scene this morning, it was met with hostility from the hoodlums, who pelted it with stones, forcing the truck to reverse.
