BREAKING: Confusion As Staff Reject Tinubu’s Top Appointee, Shut Her Out

Staff have rejected a top officer appointed by President Bola Tinubu.
Workers of the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) have closed the service’s head office in Abuja to protest the appointment of Tola Odeyemi as Chief Executive Officer/Post Master General.
The appointment, announced by presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale, was part of changes made by President Tinubu in the communication agency leadership. Confusion arose when reports surfaced about the possible reinstatement of the sacked Postmaster-General, Adeyemi Adepoju.
In a viral video, Adepoju was seen addressing workers who believed he had been reappointed. However, protesting NIPOST workers denied entry to the newly appointed CEO, Odeyemi, expressing their preference for Adepoju. They chanted solidarity songs and displayed placards in protest against Odeyemi’s appointment.
