Ayra Starr’s sophomore album, The Year I Turned 21, continues to break records as the album has been named as one of the best albums released in 2024 by Billboard and Rolling Stone. The Year I Turned 21 joins other projects like Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine, Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter, Charlie XCX’s Brat, and many others to be named one of the best albums. Since its release, the album has climbed several music charts like the Billboard world album charts, Spotify, and the TurnTable Charts.
Aside from topping music charts and being named one of the best albums in 2024, Ayra’s album has been lauded by music critics and it has also been predicted to be nominated for album of the year award in major music awards like the Headies and the Grammys.
