Amaarae Features in Vogue World Fashion Show
Ghanaian-American artist Amaarae was among the celebrities who walked the Vogue World runway. The artiste, who is set to tour alongside Sabrina Carpenter and Childish Gambino, appeared on the runway with other popular personalities who work in music, film and sport. They include Sabrina Carpenter, FKA Twigs, Colman Domingo, Jodie Turner-Smith, Jeremy Pope, Amaarae, Aya Nakamura, Katy Perry, Maluma, Teyana Taylor, Joe Burrow, Yusra Mardini, Audrey Tcheuméo, Venus and Serena Williams, and many others.
While speaking about the experience on her X page, Amaarae appreciated Vogue magazine and Anna Wintour for inviting her to feature in this year’s Vogue World edition. Amaarae joins other African artists like Adekunle Gold, Burna Boy, and Wizkid who have featured in fashion campaigns this year.
