Adekunle Gold’s “Falling Up” Closes the 2024 Loius Vuitton Fashion Show
Adekunle Gold’s song, “Falling Up” was recently used as the closing song at the notable Loius Vuitton fashion show. The record which is one of the songs from his album, “Tequila Ever After”, features American artists Pharell Williams and Niles Rogers and it was released in 2023. However, it appears the song has infiltrated the international fashion space as it was used as the closing song at the fashion event. In a video that captured the moment, Gold was shown singing along to the song while Rema congratulated him with a handshake.
The event also saw appearances by other top African artists like Wizkid, Burna Boy, Mr. Eazi, and Tems. Other prominent personalities at the event include Didier Drogba, Jada Pollock, Uncle Waffles, and Stormzy.
